The company rapidly developed a range of traction engines, steam rollers, ploughing engines, showman's engine along with agricultural implements and stationary engines. One of the most forgotten achievements was there invention of the traction - centre engine for driving steam powered fairgound roundabouts.
McLaren had a very good overseas market with over 50% of goods exported. They had local offices in New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, and South America with smaller representation in Hungary, Germany and Italy.
